Why are you a friend, or member, of the LES PTA and what can we do to involve your friends, neighbors and other family members? Do you feel involved? Would you like to get involved in a committee? We are looking for committee members and chairpersons for the following:

• Board of Education / Board of Finance,
• Childcare - PTA Meetings,
• Spirit Week

A successful PTA depends upon our committees. Please become involved and contact an LES PTA Executive Board member if you would like to participate on a committee and / or be a chairperson.

Saturday December 2, 2006 the LES PTA will manage a table at the Lebanon Co-Op Nursery from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM to sell SCRIP. If you have some time we'd appreciate your assistance. Please contact LES PTA President Phil Johnson at lynphil@snet.net .

Campbell's Labels for Education 2006-07 Goal

Did you realize that the LES PTA participates in the Campbell's Labels for Education program?  Maybe your family eats Campbell's soups, or uses Prego sauces or drinks V8 or uses Swanson broths. All of these products and more in the Campbell's family of products are part of the Labels for Education program. For more than 30 years, Campbell's Labels for Education program has awarded over $100 million in FREE merchandise to schools nationwide.

You can help the Lebanon Elementary School earn FREE merchandise by clipping the UPC of some Campbell's family of products, or saving lids from other Campbell's family of products, and dropping those UPCs and lids in the specially marked Campbell's Labels for Education bins in the LES.  Some items from the Campbell's Labels for Education merchandise include educational computer software, audio/visual equipment, physical education equipment and much more.

The LES PTA encourages you and your family and friends to clip those UPCs and save those lids and send them into the school throughout the year.  This year our goal is to collect 1000 points, so we're asking for your help.
