We had a great turnout at the September meeting. It was great to see so many familiar faces and so many new faces as well. We hope that trend continues with our October meeting scheduled for this coming Monday evening (10/1/07) in the LES Cafe. At our September meeting we had a considerable amount of interest in volunteering on a committe, but of course we have room for more volunteers. Please consider volunteering on an LES PTA committee.

Coming up in October, during the Parent / Teacher conferences on October 18 and October 19 we'll have the Fall Book Fair in the LES Cafe. This is a great opportunity to purchase a holiday gift. It is also a great opportunity to volunteer your time. If you can assist with the Book Fair please contact Laurie Shaw at 860-456-9584 or kallshaw(at)snet.net.

Build the Garden - Phase 1
The Bailey's Garden committee is proud and excited to announce that Phase 1 of Bailey's Garden is ready for installation, but the committee needs your help. Near to the goal
Did you know we are only 770 points away from reaching our current goal to purchase a Camcorder with a 2.5" LCD Color Monitor built in for the School? With your help over these past few years we are that close. Please continue to send in those Campbell's Labels for Education.
