Hello [FIRSTNAME],

Sorry for the delay for this month's newsletter. It has surely been a very busy spring season.

We are still in need of a Treasurer for the 2007/2008 school year. This is a very important position, which needs to be filled or else the LES PTA runs the risk of not being able to be rechartered. Please contact Tom Boone at boonetp@charter.net or an LES PTA Executive Board Member, or come to the May PTA Monthly meeting.

Speaking of the May PTA Monthly meeting. By now you've realized that the typically scheduled meeting for the first Monday of the month was postponed. We are meeting THIS Monday, May 14th at 6:00 PM. Pizza will be served. Please review this month's Agenda. We have some very important topics to discuss.

Box Tops for Education April Showers bring May Flowers

Now through June 8, 2007 the LES PTA is asking you to help Box Tops for Education "Flowers" bloom throughout the school. Ask your friends, your parents, your relatives, anyone who you talk with to clip those Box Tops for Education tags off of the food they eat or products they use every day. For every 50 boxtops collected per classroom your student's teacher will receive a flower in their "flower pot" in the school's lobby. What products has Box Tops for Education tags you ask?
