Hello [FIRSTNAME],

The Spring solstice has arrived. As I write this eNewsletter the temperature outside is a balmy 64 degrees, the snow has melted, the grass is brown, the fields are muddy and it's Spirit Week at LES! This School year is almost over, but the PTA has a lot yet to do.

Monday, April 2nd, is our Regular Meeting in the LES Cafeteria at 6:30 PM. The nominations for the 2007/2008 Executive Board will be presented. The Nominating Committee, and the LES PTA, urgently needs a Teasurer. Please read the full article below.

Also being presented at April's Regular Meeting is our updated Bylaws. The Bylaws and the 2007/2008 nominations will be voted on at the May 7th Regular Meeting.

In this past Friday Folder an LES PTA Survey was distributed to all LES student families and LES teachers and staff. The PTA is an organization that serves our students, LES and the community. We would like to hear from you. Please return the survey and encourage your friends to return the survey as well.

The next time you visit the PTA web site, be sure to check out the pictures of the Lady Bug Ball and Two Beans production of Jack Sprat Low-Fat World Tour that have been posted to the Gallery.

If you do not want to continue receiving this eNewsletter please click the Unsubscribe link below.

Sincerely,
The LES PTA Executive Board

LES PTA Survey - 2007
The LES PTA values our Members, Teacher/Staff and community opinions.  Our purpose is:

a. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of
worship,
b. To raise the standards of home life,
c. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth,
d. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may
cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth, and
e. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure
for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and
spiritual education.

Help us achieve our purpose by letting us know how you perceive how we are doing, and let us know what is important to you.
