The following  LES PTA Bylaws were approved at the May 14, 2007 Regular Meeting of the LES PTA. These Bylaws align with the latest CT PTA Bylaw requirements and include the following notable changes from the prior Bylaw revision:
- Officer of Executive Board position retain current position for a maximum of 1 additional year with a majority vote
- Bylaws review in January (was October)
- Allow another Executive Board member to sign PTA checks in the absence of the President. The Treasurer is still required.
- PTA committees: Removed PTA Web Page and Family Math & Science; Added Board of Finance, Campbells/Box Tops for Education, Nominating and Reflections
- Added that the annual meeting is held in September
- Removed sections concerning Council Membership, which we are not a part.
- Added a Revision History table.
